REVIEW OF QUESTIONNAIRE

The objective of a questionnaire is to collect data of certain topics from the public in general or a selected group of people, etc. in order to understand the needs of the people, their opinion, etc.
In my opinion the weaknesses of The Summit Apartment questionnaire are:

1. When the Management compiles the data, they need to know the source. So, in the Data Unit, they should also request for the “Tower Name” and not only “Unit Number” because every tower is different in terms of its location within The Summit complex. Different locations means different evacuation procedures needed in case of fire since the main objective is get the residents to a safe location in the shortest possible time. It is therefore imperative that the Management knows exactly what the residents of each tower know about the evacuation plans and their preparedness in the event of a fire.
2. The Management did not mention anything in the questionnaire about the fire extinguishers, which are installed in every unit. It is extremely important that all residents are properly trained to use the fire extinguishers and also the need to service their fire extinguishers regularly.
3. Since there are many expatriates living in The Summit apartment and most of them do not fully understand Indonesian language, it is therefore advisable for the Management to prepare the questionnaire in two languages i.e. Indonesia and English language.
